Double Force - rollers in the release flanks Rollers in the release flanks are along time standard in Alpine bindings for reducing friction between the boot sole and the toe iron. Less friction means less false especially with low Z-settings and in difficult condition Double Force - release flanks in the toe piece We do have two piece toe parts. This means we can achieve a more precise adjustment to different boot sole geometries as if using one piece toe parts. A valuable side-effect is a more precise lateral release. Gliding sole support Rubber soles produce a higher friction with their contact surfaces. At worst case they can double the pull-out force for lateral releases. The gliding support reduces this friction in order to keep the setting of the reduces this friction in order to keep the setting of the enormous strain. Pivot point step frame Walking comfort right from the start. This is why we placed the touring pivot in the right position. At the same time we have minimized the use of moving parts that can wear out.
